Fifty Percent Pain

Man, sometimes I feel bad for not writting in my Xanga. I don't even know why. It's like I don't want to give it up because it's cataloged so much. So lets continue the cataloging...

I went to the Startup School over at Stanford this past weekend. It was a gathering of like 600 geeks from around the world learning about starting the next MySpace,Google, etc. (If you thought I wasn't a nerd, you've been proved wrong, hardcore.) It was pretty inspiring stuff. But I ended up more impressed by the Stanford campus. It was my first time really visiting it. It's so damn nice. Parts of it looked straight out of an Abercrombie & Fitch commercial.

My little brother got into Cal. I'm so damn proud. And he's coming here with two full rides. That's crazy. He better start paying me back all the money I've given him...

I want to learn to dance jumpstyle. But it looks like something I would only try drunk. But you have to be sober to have the coordination to do it. So I'm kinda stuck.

This summer is gonna be a blast. I've had it all planned out since before I came to Cal, and it's pretty cool to see the pieces falling into place.

I feel naked without my mp3 player. I don't have the charger for it now.

I wish grillz were cool back when I had braces.

That should be enough for this month.

I'm on it!

I need a break. Lets see... what's been on my mind?

I didn't care about internet privacy until I started getting emails for Viagra... I still don't know how they found out...

How the hell does the phrase "believe you me" make any sense? If anything the "you" and the "me" should be flipped... believe me, you!

When someone says "you have a unique sense of humor" they're really trying to say "no one laughs at your jokes".

Tempting... I'd be able to blog while working and say I'm "debugging".

If you're fat enough, you'll always be riding around in a low rider.

And now for my song:

I be on dat comp tonight
Straight up on dat comp tonight
I be on dat, straight up on dat
I be on dat comp tonight

I I I I I be on it all night, man I be on it all
Day straight up pimp
If you want me you can find me in Soda Hall

I'm on it
I'm on it
I'm on it
I'm on it
Wooo!

Going on like Donkey Kong

Lets see here... what have I been up to?

  • Berkeley: The semester ended. Did pretty well despite a few screw ups. (Okay, a lot of screw ups)

  • Back home: Holidays were cool. Spent good 'ol quality time with the family. Reminds me when I used to be in elementary school. Just lounging around the house with my brothers, laughing our asses off.

  • Disney World: I went to Orlando to represent Cal at the Academic Olympiad for the National Technical Career Conference. We got fourth place, which was a bummer. But Mickey Mouse cheered my ass up. Thank you Mickey. And here's some advice, if you're ever going to Orlando to party, don't. Go to Miami, it's worth the trip

  • Lake Tahoe: I went snowboarding for the first time. That was pretty awesome. I kinda got the hang of it towards the end. But then I fell...hard...a few times. Maybe I should try skiing?

  • Starbucks City: Flew up to Seattle for a job interview. The interview went alright, but at least visiting Seattle was tight. And Christine's friends showed me around which was so awesome. I survived the Space Needle.

  • Berkeley again: Now I'm back at Berkeley, trying to get back into study mode. We'll see how that turns out.

Check this out:
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It is not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

That is all.
